The problem

The storefront needed modern frontend and cloud delivery while recovering search visibility without risking checkout, pricing, shipping, or production commerce behavior.

My role

I owned the storefront architecture, migration and delivery decisions, SEO evidence gates, release verification, and the boundary between growth work and commerce risk.

Capabilities

  1. 01

    Modern commerce storefront

  2. 02

    Sitemap and indexation controls

  3. 03

Structured data and content quality checks

  4. 04

    Search Console evidence workflows

  5. 05

    Cloudflare delivery and production verification

Product decisions

  1. 01

Rank SEO work by commercial value and evidence rather than producing an unbounded content backlog.

  2. 02

Keep checkout and commerce behavior outside routine SEO changes.

  3. 03

Require live browser and production evidence before calling a release complete.

Evidence

  • 01

    Public storefront at muriersilk.com.

  • 02

The product runtime includes sitemap generation, structured-data helpers, and reproducible SEO evidence gates.

Honest limits

  • !

Muriersilk is client delivery, not my startup.

  • !

Revenue, customer, order, payment, and production credential data is not published.

Growth work inside a commerce boundary

Search visibility matters, but the storefront also contains checkout, pricing, shipping, payment, and fulfilment behavior that routine SEO work must not disturb.

I separated evidence collection, opportunity selection, content or technical changes, release gates, and live verification. Missing analytics degrades the confidence of a decision; it does not justify inventing attribution.

Operating discipline

The work includes sitemap and indexation controls, structured data, canonical ownership, content quality, Search Console evidence, and Cloudflare delivery. Each release distinguishes source completion, build completion, production switch, and real browser verification.
